Tairsa Mathews, MFPA serves as the Research and Planning Administrative Assistant for FourWord Financial. Tairsa has a master’s degree from Utah Valley University in Financial Planning and Analytics. She has fulfilled all steps set forth by the CFP® board required of Certified Financial Planner® professionals.* She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University. In addition to serving FourWord Financial clients, Tairsa is also a graduate teaching and research assistant at Texas Tech University, and an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University. She has a love of education and teaching that translates into helping support the financial planning process at FourWord Financial.

In addition to her financial planning pursuits, Tairsa has been a small business owner for the past 20 years, operating a piano studio. Her passion lies in teaching and assisting individuals in achieving their financial goals. This endeavor seamlessly combines her business acumen with her dedication to helping others succeed financially.

Away from the professional realm, Tairsa finds joy in being a wife to her husband JR, and mother to four beautiful children: Dean, Michelle, Peter, and Steven. Residing in Orem, Utah, Tairsa and her family enjoy embarking on adventures and sharing the love of music through her participation in community orchestras.
